We are an organization dedicated to preserving the lifestyles and history of the men and women who fought and lived during the War of Northern Aggression. We are open to all that wish to join and meet the membership requirements. The 27th SCVI offers the opportunity to participate as a soldier, civilian, provost marshall and we also have a women's group. We are not a hard-core (or as some refer to as stitch counters) group. Reenacting can be an expensive hobby and we suggest that you attend a few meetings and events before you get started. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or gender. Women can participate as soldiers if they meet certain requirements. We meet at 7:30 PM on the 2nd Monday of each month at Collins Park Community Center, 4115 Fellowship Road, North Charleston, SC Off of Dorcheter Road near Michauex Parkway.
